Matt & Traci came to town to finalize a few details for their wedding, so we took the opportunity to go have some fun! They are both in the airline industry, so I took them to the executive terminal for a few shots. Can’t wait for the wedding guys! See you in a few months!

Gabe & Tiffany were married on July 31st on the Pacific shore of Costa Rica. It was such a fun week leading up to the wedding! Between the beach, the numerous excursions, and the all-inclusive Pool Time (O Yeah!) …it was a blast and I can’t wait to go back! One of the highlights was surely the Zipline of the Costa Rican canopy, a good majority of the wedding group participated, even Tiffany’s grandmother!
I had a small heart attack the first time I took my camera out to shoot, as the LCD, eyepiece and lens instantly fogged completely over. I have lots of experience shooting in humid states, but nothing like that! On the wedding day I decided to crack the slider door of the honeymoon suite where the girls were getting ready, so I could leave both cameras outside…. out of the slight drizzle , but acclimated to the air. This kept them ready to rock, and I could still duck into the suite for hair & makeup photos. Right smack in the middle of the rainy season, the wedding was scheduled as a morning affair. It worked perfectly as the rain usually didn’t come until late afternoon, and after the reception brunch we actually got a nice 3-4 hour extension of sun for Pool Time! For those of you that don’t know, Pool Time is:
Pool Time, n.
1. Time spent with friends and family in a large pool with a swim-up bar, with unlimited fruity drinks and cuisine from an on-point world class chef, somewhere very close to the equator.
Thanks so much to everyone who traveled down for the wedding! If you received the link to the blog secondhand and would like to be added to the final email list just send an email to ron@ronmphoto.com When all the images are online I will email everyone with the gallery link and password. I hope to have the zip-line videos up maybe late tonight, I shot everything full HD so it’s been uploading to youtube for the last 24 hours lol.
Now the pics…. This was the sunset the night before the wedding.

Everyone received a bag for the weekend, inside was a underwater camera, chapstick, and personalized beer koozie!

Tiffany’s dad walks her up the beach. Right before she got to here some local ladies were running up to her and congratulating her lol. Get out of the pictures!!

On July 10th I had the pleasure of shooting Tamara & Paul’s wedding in a backyard setting. Weddings at homes have always been one of my favorites, you just can’t beat the ambience of being under the stars. Tamara made an excellent observation when we were discussing the wedding day a few months before. What better way to pick a sunny day than to visit the city’s history books! I don’t remember the exact dates, (And this is the Southwest so if you’re in New England this won’t apply!), but the last rainy day on July 10th was like 1998, then 1973, then 1959? Pretty good odds right?!

Escape the family photos? Not a chance little guy.
I know there’s always some clean-up time involved, but I do prefer the messy way out! The images are much more fun!
They converted the hot tub to the ceremony stage, as well as a satellite dance floor through the evening.
Watch that ledge guys……..
Oh No!!!!! B&G down!!!!
Ok, not really =) Apparently Tamara’s mom hid all her bathing suits so she wouldn’t do the following, but I think someone brought a spare for her =)
If you look in the upper left of this image, near the door you will see the dog that managed to take a piece of my leg.

Congrats Paul & Tamara! If you missed the email list that went around and would like to be added for the final online release just send an email to ron@ronmphoto.com

We started out with a nice little photo tour of the swanky Encore Hotel, hitting a few nooks and crannys with flair. After their ceremony at The Bellagio we headed to the outdoor patio at the famous Picasso Restaurant. This is as close as you can get to the fountains of Bellagio, unless you have gills or wings. The spectacular show went off every 15 minutes for the entire reception, after which I huddled over my Mark III to keep the spray off my lenses!! Julian Serrano kept a close eye over the wedding, and crafted a masterful dinner (shots above). As the evening winded up Diana even got a shot with Julian in front of one of Picasso’s famous paintings (the entire collection in the restaurant is valued around 90 million!!).
Congrats Ilya & Diana!
