Well we are halfway done with this summer season, I hope you’re having a good one! Plenty of sun, BBQs, beaches, water parks. But is summer our favorite season? As we pass the midway point in July, toes in the water – ass in the sand as they say.. I can’t help but daydream about our favorite upcoming fall pleasures. Autumn photography, all our tv shows come back on, football! What else is there? I’ll give you a clue:
Hmmmmmm, another clue?
Yummy food & grapes, where are we going here….
Wait wait, yes please! Where can I get a plate like that just for me?
They say if you don’t start drinking in the morning you can’t drink all day.. where’s the best place to enjoy foodie bites and wine all day?
Ok ok, cheese & bread pushed you to the edge and you’re ready….. It’s time for CRUSH!!!

The Unconditional Surrender statue in San Diego is the depiction of a famous photograph taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt in Times Square on V-J day – August 14, 1945. A sailor was running down the street grabbing and kissing any and every girl in sight… young & old. Alfred instinctively waited for him to approach this nurse and snapped 4 shots, one of which would appear later that week in Life magazine and become a cultural icon. The statue is extremely popular for military couples, we took at jab at it recently and am very happy with it! San Diego’s statue is appropriately located directly adjacent to the Midway Aircraft Museum on San Diego’s waterfront. After the statue we hit Sunset Cliffs as the light faded. It’s off to Miami in December for the wedding!
Really no time to blog or do much else but power through Season 11. Another crazy year! So glad we cut back on the travel…. yeah right. Twice to Cabo, Miami, Dallas, North Carolina, and the rest about 30 split between SD, LA, and LV. George Clooney I am catching up! So much to share, so little time. Will try to do some daily images for the next few weeks at least. Our new studio will launch in LV soon, keep you posted!
For now here’s a few from a classic SD venue and one of our favorites to work, enjoy!
